Description
Balbina Pi Sanllehy (1896 -1973) was an anarcho-union leader, speaker and actress. As a textile worker she joined the CNT’s textile union and later began touring around textile localities in Catalonia with the aim of involving women in politics. She collaborated regularly in the newspaper of the CNT Solidaridad Obrera. During the civil war she founded the Anticlerical Feminine Group and, when the civil war ended, she went into exile in France.
